Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced property manager to join our team in Liverpool City Centre. You will be responsible for helping manage a portfolio of rental properties across Liverpool, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while maintaining excellent relationships with landlords and tenants. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The hours are 9-5:30pm (with one half day on a Saturday per month – holiday in lieu for same).
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in managing a portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
* Conducting regular property inspections and addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
* Liaising with landlords and tenants regarding maintenance requests, rent payments, and other property-related matters.
* Arranging and assisting in the necessary repairs and maintenance work, obtaining quotes and managing contractors.
* Handling tenant check-ins and check-outs, including deposit administration.
* Negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews.
* Serving notices and managing any legal processes related to tenancy agreements.
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
* Providing excellent customer service to both landlords and tenants.
* Keeping up-to-date with current legislation and best practices in property management.
* Contributing to team meetings and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
* Occasionally support our sales team.
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in property management or a related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
* Knowledge of relevant property legislation and regulations.
* Proficiency in using property management software.
* ARLA qualification (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

£26k basic (happy to discuss based on experience)
Circa £100pcm commission
£0.45p per mile for own car use
