The Role Operating CNC machinery, especially Doosan CNC Lathe, and if required CNC milling machine (training will be provided). Understanding and operating on Fanuc controls. CAM software experience - preferable Autodesk software but training will be provided. Turn and/or mill with all metals. Read schematics, assembly drawings, data sheets and process sheets. Perform maintenance when necessary. Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems. Great working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices. Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be a team player willing to turn their hand to almost any task in a science led production environment. You will need to be a problem solver with a range of practical skills and an energetic and positive approach to working life. Hands on process modification and mechanical works. Safety trained. Flexible: To deal with the changes required in a scale up business. Pragmatic: To be able to translate strategy and plans into tangible projects and progress on the ground. Collaborative: To allow good working relationships with external parties and internal support teams. You will have experience in the following: Experience in the operation of CNC turning machinery, including Milling & Turning machinery (minimum 5 years). Production experience.
