We\'re now looking for Yard Shunter working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
What does the role entail?
* Yard shunting using a Terberg - approx 15 movements per 12 hour shift
* 4 on 4 off shift pattern either Days 04:00-16:00 OR Nights 16:00-04:00
* Additional 5th and 6th shifts potentially available - trunking work
* Salary £35,895 Plus unsocial hours premium on hours worked between 22:00 - 06:00 of £1.00 per hour
* Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers\' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
* Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
What do we need from you?
* You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
* Ideally you will have experience using Terberg shunter
* Have a MINIMUM of 12 months LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) commercial driving experience
* Live locally to Stoke on Trent ST4 4EY
