Role Overview We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant to support our CEO. This is a pivotal role within the business, acting as a trusted partner to the CEO and helping to ensure the smooth running of daily operations. In addition to executive support, you will take ownership of building, training, and managing a team of administrators, helping to scale our operations as the business grows. Key Responsibilities Manage the CEOs calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements Act as the first point of contact on behalf of the CEO, screening calls, emails, and enquiries Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing documents Coordinate internal and external meetings, including agendas and follow-ups Assist with project coordination and tracking key business initiatives Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Support communication between the CEO and internal teams, suppliers, and partners Organise company events, team meetings, and off-site activities Assist with basic financial and administrative tasks as required Proactively identify ways to improve efficiency and support business operations Team Leadership & Administration Management: Recruit, onboard, and train a team of administrative staff Set clear objectives, processes, and performance standards for the admin team Manage day-to-day workloads and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately Monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching and development Implement and improve administrative systems and workflows to support business growth Act as a key link between the CEO and the administrative team Requirements Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a similar role Experience managing, training, or mentoring staff (or strong potential to step into a leadership role) Exceptional organisational and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities High level of discretion and professionalism Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail Comfortable working closely with senior leadership in a small business setting What We Offer Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Flexible working arrangements (where applicable) A supportive, close-knit, family-run team environment Opportunity to work directly with the CEO and gain insight into all areas of the business Leadership responsibility with scope to build and shape your own team Career development opportunities as the company grows The chance to contribute to a business making a positive environmental impact
