Job Description
The In‑House Commercial Solicitor will be:
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
* Advising group companies on commercial and legal risk
* Supporting procurement and operational teams with commercial advice
* Assisting in the creation and rollout of a contract playbook
* Managing stakeholder relationships across departments
* Supporting compliance with internal policies and governance
* Working closely with senior legal counsel and external advisors
* Contributing to legal process improvement initiatives
The Successful Applicant
The In‑House Commercial Solicitor should be:
* A solicitor or equivalent with 2‑4 PQE
* Experienced in drafting and advising on commercial agreements
* Able to assess and manage legal and commercial risk
* Strong communicator with stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable working independently and in a team
* Adaptable and proactive, with a commercial mindset
