Job Description
GI Group is seeking to appoint an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor (Electrical) for our public sector client based in Rotherham. The role involves supporting and enhancing the apprentice and employer experience through effective skills coaching and tutoring. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of engineering apprentices and deliver inspiring teaching sessions.
Main Duties
1. Design, develop, and deliver engaging teaching sessions aligned with health standards.
2. Provide coaching and developmental feedback to support successful and timely End Point Assessments (EPA).
3. Conduct regular reviews with apprentices and their line managers/mentors to ensure EPA completion.
4. Support apprentices' development through onsite workplace visits, creating evidence such as observations, reflective accounts, witness testimonies, and professional discussions documented within the e-portfolio OneFile.
5. Set achievable tasks and support apprentices throughout their journey, including preparation for functional skills assessments.
Role Requirements
* Experience in assessing within Apprenticeship Standards.
* Experience supporting learners through assignments and assessments.
* Vocational qualification at Level 3 or above.
* Assessment qualification (D32/D33 A1 or TAQA).
* Internal verification qualification (D34 V1 or TAQA).
* Appropriate teaching qualification.
