Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Technology, beginning Fall 2026 (Tenured)
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is currently seeking a Full-Time, Tenured Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology in the Division of Physical and Computational Sciences, beginning Fall 2026.
Requirements: Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field. Qualified to hold rank of associate professor, tenured. Strong commitment to teaching undergraduates. Scholarship, advising, and service activities. Experience teaching at the university or collegiate level. Knowledge of ABET (Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology) processes and procedures.
Responsibilities: Applicants must be able to lead the ABET process for relatively new mechanical and energy engineering technology programs, be the program director for those programs, and teach in Pitt-Bradford's four-year Mechanical Engineering Technology Program and the two-year engineering transfer programs.
Candidates experienced in working with college students from varied backgrounds and who have applied experience in the field of expertise are encouraged to apply.
