About the Role
Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant team at Butlin's Restaurants in Skegness! Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in running our kitchen and leading a fantastic team of talented chefs.
In this dynamic position, you will:
* Support the Kitchen Manager and step up in their absence.
* Passionately monitor guest experiences and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
* Exhibit strong leadership skills to nurture and grow your team through daily briefings.
* Manage stock control and ensure food presentation meets our high standards.
* Drive financial performance by delivering food cost budgets through effective menu planning.
* Uphold food hygiene standards and health & safety regulations in line with legislation and company policies.
* Inspire your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences every time.

About You
We’re seeking individuals with experience in a similar role who are:
* Hardworking and Determined: A reliable person who gets things done and seeks better ways for the team to meet our brand standards.
* Energetic and Enthusiastic: High-spirited and fun-loving, you understand the value of your role in enhancing the guest experience.
* Qualified: You should have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Cost-Conscious: Responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
Our chefs at Butlin’s are truly special, and we know our guests love returning to our restaurants as part of their holiday experience. The ideal candidate will be fun, eager to join in, and committed to ensuring our guests have a fantastic time, every time!
This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, totaling 40 hours, so flexibility is key. Some shifts may extend late into the night, with 4am finishes involved. Plus, there’s a bonus scheme!
