Multi-Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias | Ashby de la Zouch (Home of Hula Hoops, Space Raiders, Nik Naks and more)
Shift Pattern: Panama shift pattern (12 hour shifts - days & nights). Join our snack-loving team! We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at KP Snacks. This hands-on role supports the smooth running of the site by delivering both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of production and ancillary equipment.
What you’ll be doing
* Deliver hands-on maintenance and repairs across a variety of production and site equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
* Tackle downtime reduction through fault-finding, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with production teams and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and aligned ways of working.
* Maintain high standards in health, safety, and food quality to safeguard people and product.
* Develop PPM schedules, maintain accurate records, and support knowledge-sharing across teams.

Knowledge, skills and experience
* Knowledge of food manufacturing environments and a willingness to contribute to team success.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills to positively influence outcomes.
* Hands-on engineering background with a minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering; multi-skilled capability is preferred.
* Additional qualifications or broader experience are a plus, but core requirements and a willingness to grow are essential.
* Demonstrated enthusiasm, commitment, and drive to thrive in a culture that values ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
