They are seeking a Senior Technician to join their growing team based in Wiveliscombe.
The purpose of this role is to develop solutions for the management of a wide range of sewage, surface water, and trade effluent requirements at domestic, commercial, and municipal scale across all stages of development.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of around £45,000, depending on experience.
Working hours are 9am5pm, Monday to Friday, with no evening or weekend work.
Hybrid working is available, though weekly travel to the office is required due to the nature of the role.
The role: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions across the full project lifecycle.
Your key duties will include: Prepare outline designs, detailed designs and construction support for surface water drainage, sustainable drainage solutions, mains connections etc Coordinate and deliver technical and regulatory approvals including permits, planning permissions and land drainage consents Use Civils 3D to prepare 3D models and scale drawings, long sections cross sessions and clash detection.
Prepare scale drawings, schematic reports and technical notes Use Causeway for network design, sizing and specification Complete CDM requirements for projects including risk assessments and pre construction information Support the construction phase by preparing setting out drawings and on site assessments The candidate: Previous experience in a similar civil engineering role Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy Ability to organise and manage multiple projects simultaneously A proactive, solutions-focused mindset What Elite Staffing will do for you: CV review and recommendations for improvement (if requested) Support with covering letters where required Interview preparation assistance Ongoing updates and support throughout the recruitment process If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please apply today.
