Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping regulatory excellence at the RAC? We’re looking for a Frontline Support Compliance Manager to help drive compliance, deliver great customer outcomes, and support strategic initiatives that shape the future of personal lines insurance.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll support the First Line Technical Compliance Manager in ensuring effective compliance management across RAC’s operations and partnerships. You will help ensure we meet our regulatory responsibilities while managing the implementation of regulatory changes and projects, including key Consumer Duty obligations.
This role touches all products, touchpoints, and channels, both internal and partner-led. You’ll coordinate compliance activities, manage documentation, and keep customer interests at the forefront.
What you will do
* Maintain a central documentation store tracking all compliance actions.
* Support oversight across sales, service, renewals, complaints, and all contact channels including call centres, web, and chat.
* Collaborate with business units and partners to embed new regulatory requirements, including FCA’s Consumer Duty.
* Document and maintain the governance framework, ensuring pricing and proposition decisions are compliant and customer-focused.
* Attend governance committees, preparing compliance MI and documentation.
* Track and manage actions from audits, monitoring, and reviews.
* Oversee and advise on the complaints process, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and fair outcomes.
* Manage the customer documentation lifecycle, from approval to review.
* Oversee customer journeys and product development pipelines to meet regulatory standards.
* Stay informed on market trends, competitor analysis, and emerging regulation.
What You Bring
* Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably within financial services or insurance.
* Strong understanding of insurance regulations including Value Measures, Fair Value, Vulnerable Customers, and Pricing Practices.
* Deep knowledge of personal lines products and operating models.
* Ability to deliver effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications
Qualifications like CII in Compliance or General Insurance are desirable but not essential; experience, drive, and a growth mindset are valued.
