About the Role
We are looking for a Life Practitioner to support individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs at Church View House in Swinderby, Lincoln. The role involves helping clients live independent lives by assisting with daily activities and accompanying them on community trips.
Responsibilities
* Provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs.
* Assist with daily activities and help clients achieve independence.
* Accompany clients on trips into the community, including shopping, meals, appointments, and outings.
* Drive the company vehicle to transport clients, holding a full UK driver’s licence or two years of driving experience in the UK.
Qualifications
* Genuine passion for care and a motivation to contribute to the progress of others.
* Strong team player with resilience and confidence to seek support when needed.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Computer literacy.
* Level 3 in Children’s Residential Services or willingness to work toward it.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting rates: Level 1 £12.71, Level 2 £13.10, Level 3 £13.60 per hour.
