Community ConneX is a campaigning organisation and a multi-project service provider working across West London, supporting disabled people, those experiencing other disadvantages and their families to live healthier, happier, and inclusive lives by ensuring their needs, rights and aspirations are met.
We are looking for an SEN professional who can lead the after-school club from 03:30pm - 06:30pm, Tuesday to Friday and from 09am to 2pm on a Saturday.
Key duties:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of our services, ensuring quality and efficiency.
* Provide supervision, guidance and mentorship to your team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and create tailored care plans for our clients.
* Design and implement engaging recreational and educational activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of our clients.
* Maintain open communication with parents/guardians, offering regular updates on client progress and development.
Our ideal candidate:
* You have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in supporting adults or children with autism, mental health challenges, learning disabilities, or behaviours that challenge.
* You are a natural leader with excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills.
* You are compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those you support.
* You are able to commute to Harrow and are committed to being an active and engaged member of our team.
