We are currently seeking to recruit a Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join our team!
As a first point of contact, you will provide a customer-focused housing management service within a designated neighbourhood. Your work will support the aims of Stockport Homes and our mission to transform lives.
As a Neighbourhood Housing Officer, you must be confident in enforcing tenancy conditions and challenging behaviours using various tools and powers. This role requires excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, high resilience, the ability to work independently, and strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with partners and colleagues.
With excellent customer care skills and a commitment to improving neighbourhoods, you should be capable of working positively in challenging circumstances and have an interest in Housing law related to Social Housing management.
You should have good problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be proficient in using IT packages to manage tenancy details and casework. A valid driving licence and access to a car are essential due to the role's nature.
