Global Business Development Manager – Bespoke LED Solutions (OEM)
Base pay range: £50-60,000 basic + bonus. Location: Hybrid - Andover (2 days/week). Travel: ca. 10 weeks per year (Global – APAC & US focus).
Our client design and manufacture world-class LED lighting solutions for industrial and machine vision applications. They deliver both off-the-shelf products and bespoke, customizable illumination solutions for OEM integration.

The Role
As Global Business Development Manager, you’ll open doors with OEMs in semiconductors, materials science, optics, and other high-tech sectors. Your focus will be on selling configurable imaging unit solutions, creating long-term partnerships, and converting opportunity into repeat business. You will also manage key accounts and support market development for new applications in optical inspection and automation technologies.
* Identify and convert high-value new OEM accounts in target markets, including machine vision, industrial inspection, and automation
* Build trusted relationships with decision-makers at leading OEMs to forge long-term commercial relationships and recurring revenue
* Represent the business on the global stage, from APAC to the US, attending trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings (travel ca. 10 weeks/year)
* Prepare and deliver reports on market trends, pipeline development, and strategic outcomes
* Collaborate internally to shape bespoke solutions and execute strategic growth plans
* Become a visible industry presence, ensuring the business remains front of mind for customisable imaging unit solutions

You thrive on finding, pitching, and winning business in new territories and working closely with high-profile clients to deliver bespoke solutions tailored to their requirements. To succeed, you’ll bring:
* At least 1-2 years’ experience in business development, technical sales, or OEM partnerships within semiconductors, materials science, machine vision, optics, imaging, instrumentation or closely related

* The ability to work from Andover HQ 2 days per week, with international travel flexibility
