University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for Band 2 and Band 3 roles. The role involves providing basic technical/clinical laboratory services and support, undertaking routine tests which may include sample collection, preparation, tissue handling, physiological measurements, and maintenance of laboratory equipment. * Tasks include sample receipt and preparation, operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, and updating information systems.
* Work within the department’s policies and procedures, especially regarding health and safety and quality.
* Undertake reception duties as required.
* Support and guide Pathology Support Workers within the department.
* Be an efficient and flexible team member assisting in the delivery of services.
