Temporary School CaretakerASAP StartNewcastle upon TyneContract: Temporary, short-termHours: Full-timeWe are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Temporary School Caretaker to support a school in Newcastle on a short-term basis, with an ASAP start.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, and well maintained throughout the school day.Key Responsibilities:
* Opening and securing the school site
* General caretaking and site maintenance duties
* Carrying out basic repairs and health & safety checks
* Supporting with cleanliness and tidiness of school premises
* Liaising with staff regarding site-related issues
Essential Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
* Ability to commit to full-time hours at short notice
* Reliable, practical, and able to work independently
Desirable:
* Previous experience working as a caretaker or similar
* Experience within a school or education environment (desirable but not essential)
