Behaviour Mentor Are you passionate about making a real difference to young people's lives? Academics are seeking a committed and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) provision in Bromley, supporting secondary-aged students to re-engage with learning and achieve their potential. About the role In this role, you will: Support students with SEMH needs in both academic lessons and intervention sessions Build positive, trusting relationships to promote engagement and emotional regulation Implement behaviour strategies and personalised support plans Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and external agencies Help create a calm, safe and nurturing learning environment Encourage positive attitudes towards learning, attendance and achievement About you We're looking for someone who: Has experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEMH or additional needs Is calm, patient, empathetic and able to de-escalate challenging situations Has strong communication and relationship-building skills Can work as part of a multidisciplinary team Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding and improving outcomes for young people Relevant qualifications (e.g., psychology, education, youth work) are desirable but not essential; strong experience and the right attitude are highly valued
