A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* To support the training of new ACAs in all facets of PTS operations
* To support the training of site-based staff in mandatory training requirements
* To support the mandatory periodic refresher training for ACAs and site-based staff.
* To support the development and enhancement of training programs for ACAs and site-based staff using the Absorb Learning Management System.
* To keep all records of training fully updated and ensure all training is signed off through Absorb
* To assist in ensuring that all relevant procedures, policies and safe systems of work are adhered to.
* To act as Duty Officer including spot and compliance checks
* To undertake Patient Assessments as required
* To assist and support the Safeguarding Leads in safeguarding referals and investigations.
* To actively support and encourage the workforce in complying with Safe Systems of Work and other accident prevention and reduction plans
* To ensure that all drivers are fully trained in regard to mandatory inspections required (including vehicle and equipment checks)
* To undertake Patient Home Assessments as required and in accordance with current procedures. Complete required documentation and ensure the information is recorded on the database and with PCC.
* To facilitate co-operation between drivers, managers and supervisors to promote a safe working culture and common standards across the operation
* To feedback information to Line Management/H & S Manager/Training and Resourcing Manager any issues relating to training and individuals.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Knowledge of PTS and the healthcare sector
* Educated to high school level with 5 year's experience in Customer Service
* AET Level 3 (or equivalent) Training provided if needed
* A compassionate nature and a strong dedication to patient care, complemented by outstanding communication skills.
* The ability to perform effectively under pressure is essential.
