Work Location: Leicestershire County Council, County Hall, Groby Road, Glenfield, Leicestershire

Worker Category: Hybrid Worker with County Hall being the main base and point for any travel. A flexible approach is required to work from multiple locations across Leicestershire to meet the service requirements.

Salary: Grade 13- £49,221-£53,826

Working Hours: 37 per week with flexibility on pattern to meet the service requirements. The post holder will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends by prior agreement.

Contract Type: 3 Year Fixed Term/Secondment

About the Role

This role is to lead the development, delivery, reportage and evaluation of the newly announced Crisis Resilience Fund (CRF). As the project manager you will be responsible for working across a complex landscape to ensure that the funding requirements are fulfilled, ensuring the highest quality outcomes for citizens whilst ensuring the maximisation to develop resilience for individuals in a wide variety of situations.

You will be required to work both strategically whilst providing operational direction to a wide range of interested parties. You will be responsible for liaising with central government colleagues and other Local Authorities to ensure that delivery is in line with best practice.

Strong evaluation and analytical skills are required due to the reporting requirements of the CRF and ensuring effective, legal and safe systems are in place to deliver effective and timely interventions with a strong focus on the management of risk.

You will need to hold strong communication and negotiation skills and will need to work across a range of complex landscapes.

The post holder will require strong leadership skills with a focus on a strategic approach galvanising people and topics together to ensure an effective and efficient approach to deliver high quality and cost-effective outcomes.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

8. the implementation and review the CRF
9. the management and oversight of the CRF Engagement Officer
10. capacity building to enable communities to take on an enhanced role in relation to service delivery partnerships /service devolution and prevention- based work
11. Provide high quality advice to LCC Members (including the relevant Lead Members, Cabinet and Scrutiny) and officers (specifically Corporate Management Team, Department Management Team and corporate boards) through appropriate communication and dialogue.
12. Strong project management skills with the ability to translate planning into action
13. Provide strategic oversight and challenge relating to the implementation of the CRF
