As a Junior Accounts Assistant, you will be reporting into the Finance Manager, responsible for the administration of the banking and financial reporting function.
As a background to the role, our client currently has 8 companies in total that you will be working within. These range in size so it will be a varied role.
They are happy to show/teach the specific ways they want tasks completed, for example :-
* Purchase and Sales Ledger control
* Bank Reconciliations
* VAT Returns
* Running reports such as Managements Accounts P&L
The candidate will be working under a manager/supervisor so all work will be checked prior to submission. This person would be aiding in the preparation of the above.
No official bookkeeping qualifications are required but a good working knowledge of both Sage 50 and MS Excel would be ideal as they are used on a daily basis.
