Shifts : Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 - 18:00
Break details : 30 minute lunch break, unpaid

Purpose of the role
As a Receptionist and Switchboard Operator you will be responsible for providing cover for the reception desk, greeting visitors, as well as general clerical office support. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Switchboard Operator transferring calls abroad and be proficient with room booking software such as EMS.
Key Responsibilities
1. Answer incoming calls, received on a multi-line phone system, in a cordial, professional and timely manner. Transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
2. Greet clients and visitors to the office with warmth and professionalism. Notify employees of visitor’s arrival when necessary.
3. Provide high level services to staff, clients and guests.
4. Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.
5. Handle additional projects as assigned.Handle sensitive and/or confidential document and information.
Key Skills
6. High school diploma or equivalent.
7. Minimum of two-year receptionist, switchboard or administrative assistant experience required preferably in a banking, legal or large corporate environment.
8. Exceptional customer service skills to effectively great and communicate with callers and visitors.
9. Ability and willingness to learn in-depth knowledge of the company (the business and employees) to more efficiently handle calls and great visitors.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
11. Ability to effectively and professional communication with co-workers and clients.
12. Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.
13. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
14. Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
16. Self-motivated and the ability to multi-task
