Leadership & Team Management
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians across maintenance, process engineering, and product engineering.
* Set clear objectives, manage performance, and promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Coordinate cross-functional activities to align engineering output with wider production goals and business strategy.
Maintenance
* Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programmes to maximise equipment uptime and reliability.
* Conduct root cause analysis on equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
* Ensure maintenance activities comply with all safety and regulatory standards.
Process Engineering
* Optimise manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost control.
* Introduce Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and boost throughput.
* Lead process improvement initiatives across the facility.
Product Engineering
* Support new product introduction (NPI) and ensure smooth transition from design to manufacture.
* Work closely with Design and R&D teams on manufacturability and scalability.
* Maintain accurate documentation for processes, tooling, and equipment.
Continuous Improvement & Strategy
* Deliver productivity enhancements, downtime reduction and quality improvements.
* Analyse production data, identify trends, and implement strategic corrective plans.
* Contribute to long-term engineering and capital investment strategy.
Compliance & Standards
* Ensure compliance with ISO, health & safety, and environmental standards.
* Maintain robust documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred).
* 7+ years’ experience in manufacturing engineering with proven leadership responsibilities.
* Strong understanding of maintenance systems, process optimisation, and product lifecycle management.
* Skilled in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
