My client is looking for a proactive and client-focused individual to join their team. Acting as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, you will play a vital role in ensuring their accounts run smoothly, managing metadata, analysing sales performance, resolving queries, and identifying new growth opportunities. Your new role
1. Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of publishing clients
2. Manage and respond to client enquiries, ensuring timely and professional resolutions
3. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery
4. Oversee metadata, sales reporting, stock levels, and account administration
5. Lead regular client meetings (virtual and in-person) to review performance and plans
6. Identify and develop new business and growth opportunities within client accounts
7. Collaborate with marketing teams to support campaigns and promotional activity
8. Work with operational teams to resolve logistical or supply chain issues
9. Support onboarding and offboarding of clients
10. Continuously improve internal processes and client service delivery
What you'll need to succeed
11. Experience in publishing, books, or a related industry (1–2 years preferred)
12. Strongmunication and relationship-building skills
13. Confident managing multiple client accounts and priorities simultaneously
14. Highly organised, detail oriented, and proactive
15. Strong problem solving skills with a solutions focused mindset
16. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
17. Experience with tools like Canva or marketing platforms is desirable
18. Able to adapt in a fastpaced, changing environment
