Alternative Provision / SEN Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Alternative Provision / SEN Teacher to support students who require additional support outside of mainstream classroom settings. This role is ideal for a teacher passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
* Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or behavioural challenges
* Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
* Develop and implement personalised learning plans
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
* Work closely with support staff, families, and external professionals
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
About You
* Qualified xsngvjr Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with SEN students or in alternative provision settings
* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
* Patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
* Committed to inclusion and student progress
