The role
Salary: £100,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience in technology, strategy, operations, or executive communications. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers. Proven ability to influence at senior levels and manage complex stakeholder relationships. Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams. Experience with digital collaboration tools and agile ways of working. Ability to work with integrity, discretion, and sound judgment. Responsibilities: Partner with our CTO to define, prioritise, and communicate our technology strategy and roadmap. Translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives with clear timelines, owners, and success metrics. Deliver high-quality insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making. Lead the operating rhythm of our CTO function, including leadership meetings, quarterly planning, and performance reviews. Oversee internal workflows and ensure alignment across engineering, product, data, and design teams. Drive governance processes in collaboration with Finance, Risk, and other key stakeholders. Prepare high-quality presentations, briefing materials, and board-level documentation. Represent our CTO in internal and external meetings, ensuring alignment and follow-through on decisions. Provide insight across the organisation into areas requiring attention. Act as a bridge between our CTO and other business units, ensuring clarity on priorities and dependencies. Support budget planning, vendor management, and resource allocation in partnership with Finance and People teams. Shape and amplify our CTOs external presence through speaking engagements, media, and thought leadership content. Draft speeches, blogs, and articles that reflect our CTOs vision and our strategic direction. Monitor emerging technologies and market trends to inform our internal strategy. Collaborate with internal communications, HR, and leadership to drive a cohesive culture and engagement plan. Ensure internal communications are transparent, aligned, and inspiring across our technology organisation.
