We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Environmental Response HGV Technician / Multi-Skilled Operative to join our growing Rainham team. This is far more than a standard HGV driving role. You’ll be part of a specialist operational team delivering environmental services, emergency spill response, industrial cleaning, drainage works, and remediation projects both local and across the UK. What You’ll Be Doing Operating company vehicles including HGV Class 2 tankers and specialist equipment Carrying out high-pressure water jetting, drain and interceptor cleaning works Supporting environmental spill response operations, including oil, fuel, and chemical incidents Assisting with tank uplifts, industrial cleaning, forecourt PPM works, and remediation projects Operating pumps, vacuums, hoses, and associated environmental response equipment Working alongside experienced multi-skilled operatives on major projects and reactive works Completing vehicle checks, site paperwork, and safety documentation Supporting emergency response call-outs as part of the on-call rota
