Team Lead for Community & Hospital Palliative Care Nurse Specialist
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of the Senior Nursing Team at Salisbury Hospice. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated nurse with expert leadership and management skills, and to also have expert clinical palliative care knowledge and experience.
Using your specialist skills and knowledge you will be responsible for developing your teams and the service in order to ensure excellent evidence based care that meets local need within a designated budget.
Main duties of the job
As a senior nurse you will be working alongside the senior management team to support the provision of specialist palliative care. You will have responsibility for the Community and Hospital Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist Teams ensuring that expert high quality palliative care is delivered to patients and their families.

Person Specification
Meets the below criteria
* Minimum 2 years working at a Band 6
* Minimum 2 years working in Specialist Palliative Care
* Advanced Communication Skills Course
* Leadership/Management Skills
* Currently either working in a Community or Hospital Specialist Palliative Care role
* Evidence of teaching qualification
* Evidence of managing a team previoulsy
