Pertemps Lincoln are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Dray Driver to join our client’s busy distribution team based in Grantham.
This is a full-time, ongoing position, working Monday to Friday with 06:00 starts. Each shift will typically last 8–10 hours. This is a physically demanding role, delivering kegs and beverages to local pubs, restaurants, and venues alongside a driver’s mate.
What will I be doing as a Class 2 Drivers?
Delivering kegs and drinks products safely and efficiently to customer premises
Working as part of a two-person team (driver and drayman’s mate)
Completing vehicle checks and ensuring loads are secured correctly
Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
Following all health and safety and manual handling procedures
Completing daily paperwork and delivery logs accurately
What skills and experience do I need?
A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum of 2 years Class 2 driving experience
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional always
What hours will I be working?
Monday to Friday
Start time: 06:00
Average shift length: 8–10 hours
What will I be paid?
£16.00 per hour (PAYE)
£17.66 per hour (PAYE) After 12 weeks worked
