Job Summary
Senior Care Assistant – Care Home – Bank at Barchester Healthcare. This casual, part‑time role offers flexible working. You will support residents to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
* Support the clinical team in areas such as medication administration, assessments, care plans and care reviews.
* Respect the dignity and preferences of residents and help create a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
* Provide cover for annual leave or sick leave as needed; hours and days will vary.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
* Warm‑hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
