Job Title: Fire Damper Remedial Engineer
Location: Bromley, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £28k - £42k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and successful Ventilation / Compliance company, who have recently grown their portfolio in the South Eastern region. They are seeking a knowledgeable and technically-minded Fire Damper Remedial Engineer, who can confidently inspect, test and complete remedial repairs to existing Fire Dampers. Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate strong technical experience and will ideally hold relevant qualifications. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Fire Damper Remedial Engineer
- Will hold the Fire Damper testing ticket
- Strong technical knowledge of BS9999 guidelines
- Experience working across a range of sites, including: commercial, healthcare, industrial and infrastructure
- Hardworking attitude
- Flexible to travel as required
- Good literacy and IT skills
The Role:
- Attending client sites to perform inspections and testing on existing Fire Dampers
- Identifying system performance issues and making recommendations for remedial duties
- Completing subsequent remedial duties, including: collars, links and TEK screws
- Installations of Fire Dampers
- Fitting access doors
- Making alterations to ductwork
- Working to set deadlines
- Compiling service notes to produce detailed technical reports
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
