Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs within our EYFS unit.
We require someone who is kind and caring and able to support a young person socially, emotionally and academically. We are seeking someone who is confident to run individual interventions providing additional support and adapt activities to support inclusion. The successful candidate will be flexible, supportive and willing to develop professionally. You will need to be organised, good with time pressures and able to work within a team. The right person for this unique role will have Early Years experience and be comfortable with speech & language needs and intimate care. You will need to be skilled at building relationships and working in a reactive and often outdoor manner.
Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant for child in Reception class and sensory room
Salary: Grade 15 Point 3 currently £24,027 FTE (Actual on 20 hours per week £11,127 per annum)
Contract: Temporary, subject to EHCP funding, initially fixed term one year contract
Part Time: 20 hours per week: Monday to Friday, term time (39 working weeks per year)
