Real Estate Team Leader
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Team Leader within our Real Estate Team based in Glasgow, this role will be office based.
Key Accountabilities
* To lead and manage a team of desk-based claims handlers to ensure they provide the highest standards of customer service to our clients
* Motivating the team to do their job efficiently and ensure targets and personal goals are achieved
* Management of the allocation of new claims
* Management and checking of the Real Estate reports for distribution
* The ability to deal with technical referrals from the team
* Management of team workflow to ensure all absences and holidays are covered
* Management of the holiday calendar /authorisations
* Monthly 1 to 1 meetings with team, completing appraisals within McLarens required timescales
* Overseeing and monitoring the progress of the desk-based teams claims
* Identifying training needs in the team and implementing any necessary training
* Account management support where required
* Ability to deal with complaint calls received in the team
* Other ad hoc work as required.
Experience And Qualifications
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to communicate in a clear, concise and structured manner
* 3 years' experience in property (domestic/home or commercial)
* Strong management skills
* 3 years working as a team leader or supervisor
* Decision making skills
* Excellent stakeholder management with an ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands
* Thrive in a high-pressured working environment
* Be driven to meet and exceed targets set for the Real Estate Team
* Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
* Travel may be required as and when so flexibility is a must.
