Brief Description
As a Project Management Assistant, you’ll play a key part in helping our project teams deliver successfully. You’ll provide hands-on support that adapts to the needs of the team and the project, making you an important part of our success. Your skills, flexibility, and commitment will help us keep projects on track and deliver great results together.
About the Role (External)
As a Project Management Assistant, you’ll be a key part of our project team. Your role will be varied and hands-on, from managing and sharing data to keeping projects running smoothly. You’ll collect, format and share vital information with colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring everyone has what they need to deliver. You’ll use our reporting systems to track progress, update documentation, and keep everything accurate and organised. You’ll also have the chance to get involved in different projects, making a real impact on our success.
What does the average day look like?
Every day will bring something different, but your focus will be on helping projects finish on time, on budget, and to a high standard—while keeping safety and sustainability front of mind. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on actions. You’ll track progress, log risks, and help make sure the team is clear on what success looks like. Using our systems and tools, you’ll keep things moving and support the team in delivering results.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and a great communicator. You’ll be confident working with people at all levels and able to prioritise your workload effectively. If you can balance multiple tasks, stay on top of deadlines, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team, this role could be for you.
Essential Criteria
* Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office
* Strong communication skills, able to engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
* Able to plan, organise, and prioritise work to meet deadlines
* Excellent organisational skills
