 
        
        Experienced Site Administrator / Document Controller (Mechanical & Electrical) required for a busy site in Newcastle Upon Tyne - City Centre - NE1

Role Overview:
The Site Administrator / Document Controller supports the delivery of mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects by managing site operations and ensuring accurate control of technical documentation. This role is essential for maintaining compliance, coordination, and communication across all project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Site Administration
 * 
 Coordinate daily site activities including workforce attendance, induction records, and access control.
 * 
 Support M&E teams with logistics, procurement tracking, and delivery scheduling.
 * 
 Organise meetings, prepare minutes, and maintain site diaries.
 * 
 Manage PPE inventory, tool registers, and calibration logs.
 * 
 Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to facilitate M&E workflows.
Document Control
 * 
 Receive, log, distribute, and archive M&E drawings, specifications, method statements, and test certificates.
 * 
 Maintain version control and ensure timely updates of installation drawings and schematics.
 * 
 Track technical submittals, approvals, and RFIs using document control platforms
 * 
 Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and support audits with accurate documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
 * 
 Experience in M&E construction or building services projects.
 * 
 Proficiency in document control systems and Microsoft Office
 * 
 Familiarity with M&E terminology, drawings, and installation workflows.
 * 
 Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
 * 
 Excellent comunication and coordination abilities.
