Senior Quantity SurveyorBasingstoke (South West Region) Up to £65,000 Car Allowance Benefits We are working in partnership with a leading Tier One contractor specialising in social housing refurbishment and retrofit programmes, who are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor (or experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up) to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking, people-focused business delivering large-scale planned maintenance and retrofit works across the South West. The RoleBased from Basingstoke, with a mix of office, site and home working, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end commercial management of social housing refurbishment and retrofit projects. Projects will include: External Wall Insulation (EWI) Solar PV installations Ventilation upgrades Windows & doors Roofing Air source heat pumps and decarbonisation worksYou will work closely with operational teams and take full responsibility from procurement through to final accounts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the full commercial lifecycle of projects Produce and manage CVRs and cost reporting Prepare and submit monthly valuations and applications for payment Value and authorise subcontractor payments Monitor contract progress and manage variations Support procurement and subcontractor selection Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial reports Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams Ensure compliance with JCT contracts and SOR frameworksAbout You Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within social housing refurbishment Ideally exposure to retrofit/decarbonisation works (insulation, solar, ventilation, heat pumps etc.) Strong commercial awareness with excellent CVR knowledge Proven ability to manage projects from start to final account Good understanding of JCT contracts Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Full UK driving licence (essential)What’s in It for You?
