Release Manager Location: Bradford, Chatham, Petersfield or London. You and Your Team: Reporting to our Head of Delivery Centre's, in this role you will own the overall solution/enhancement release process and act as the gatekeeper of the Group's production estate. As theRelease Manager you will oversee all aspects of the release management lifecycle. You will create integrated solutions, allowing projects to be delivered efficiently and on time. You will also oversee risk management, deployment, tracking and communications relating to the production estate. In your day-to-day role, as aRelease Manager, you will: Manage the release schedule and key release milestones across products and projects. Maintain and publish a forward schedule of change. Effectively communicate release progress, risks, issues, and status using reports and dashboards to stakeholders.? Manage cross application/project/programme alignment and dependencies for a release to go to production. Negotiate, plan, and manage release activities. Communicate to stakeholders pre, post and during releases.? Coordinate with the delivery managers and engineers on deployments and provide backup support as needed. Provide details and analytics to make a go/no-go and roll-back decisions. Review status of the builds and branch merges to get a pulse of the release trains at all given times, knowing the SLA and criticality of certain releases.? Get status updates on environments deployed, release status and when they change. Authorise environment creation, access and use based on the project environment strategy. What will make you stand out? Experience in managing all aspects of the end-to-end release process. Experience in creating a programme release cadence. Experience working with Salesforce. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as troubleshooting expertise. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to prioritise effectively and escalate issues as required.
