The Role: UPVC Maintenance Supplies is a family run business selling window and door hardware to our customers across the UK from our trade counters in Birstall and Rotherham. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (26 hours per week). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for flexible working hours within a supportive and dynamic business environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial controls. Key Responsibilities: * Managing credit control, including chasing outstanding payments, managing discrepancies and resolving disputes whilst maintaining strong customer relationships. * Inputting purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner * Raising and resolving invoice disputes with suppliers * Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies * Preparing and processing supplier payment runs * Completing weekly bank reconciliations * Carrying out daily sales reconciliations * Managing and reconciling petty cash * Providing general administrative support to meet the needs of the business * Assisting with ad-hoc finance tasks as required What We’re Looking For: * Experience in a similar finance or accounts role * Strong working knowledge of accounting p...
