Overview
A well-established secondary school in Burnley is seeking dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistants to join their team. These are full-time, long-term roles with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting students in their educational journey and who demonstrate a high level of commitment and reliability.
What We're Looking For
* A recognised qualification in supporting teaching and learning
* Applicants must hold a Level 2, Level 3, or HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) qualification
* Previous experience working in a secondary school environment is desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A professional and proactive approach to classroom support
Role Overview
* Supporting students aged 11-16 in a range of subjects
* Providing one-to-one and small group support where needed
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and resource preparation
* Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive learning environment
* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
* Contract: Long-term with a view to becoming permanent

Qualifications & Safeguarding
