Come and join our vibrant Day Surgery Unit at Salisbury Hospital and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young patients and their families. Our unit consists of a Day Surgery unit, providing specialised care for a range of specialities including general paediatrics, orthopaedics, ENT and general surgery .
This unique opportunity allows you to gain specialist and high dependency skills whilst working in a district hospital setting, whilst ensuring that you can maintain and develop your skills, due to our collaborative working with our outstanding existing Children's Unit.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for nurses who are passionate about caring for children and making a positive impact on their lives. As a valued member of our team, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment .
You will need to be flexible and adaptable, working both on the Day Surgery Unit and ward covering various specialties
You should have good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well within our multidisciplinary team
You will be committed to providing a safe care with a compassionate and caring manner. You will have the ability to work with children and their families assessing, planning implementing and evaluating individualised family centered care.

1. NMC registration, Diploma, Advanced diploma or Degree in Nursing
