Your day – to – day at Paragon
Every day is different, but your role could include:
* Providing trauma-informed care that makes children feel safe and supported
* Building positive relationships and encouraging healthy routines
* Supporting education, daily life skills, and personal development
* Preparing meals and attending medical or community appointments
* Advocating for young people and ensuring their voices are heard
* Using your own car to transport children when required
* Helping them develop the confidence to move forward with hope
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
* Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (including nights, weekends, and sleep-ins)
* A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
A relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
