We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our Technology team. This role is crucial in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions that are scalable, secure, and highly available.

About The Role
In this role, you will have responsibilities such as planning updates, implementing new Azure cloud solutions, and producing quality technical documentation. You will also support complex 2nd line requests requiring solid technical expertise. The ideal candidate will be analytical, adaptable, and possess excellent communication skills.
This position is based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis (2/3 days per week).

What You Will Be Doing
* Designing and deploying Azure infrastructure solutions
* Managing cloud resources and automating deployments
* Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery of Azure services
* Managing security risks via Intune and Azure policies
* Developing and implementing cloud migration strategies from on-premises to Azure, including Active Directory to Entra ID
* Migrating end-user device builds using Intune and Auto Pilot
* Collaborating with DevOps and security teams to ensure best practices
About You
* 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Azure
* Microsoft Azure certifications AZ-104 & AZ-305
* Expertise in Azure services like VMs, Functions, SQL, App Services, Storage
* Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
* Solid networking knowledge including VPNs, VNet peering, Load Balancers, DNS, Azure Firewall
* Experience with identity and security management (Azure EntraID, Active Directory, RBAC, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender)
* Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
* Proficiency with Azure Backup and Site Recovery
* Understanding of cloud cost management and billing
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams
* Experience with IaaS and PaaS services deployment and administration
* Knowledge of scripting languages: Shell, Python, PowerShell
* Must have the right to work in the UK
