Essential Requirements
* Experience within supported housing, homelessness services, housing support, youth work, community services, or similar settings
* Experience supporting vulnerable individuals with complex needs
* Confident managing challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
* Good IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records
* Flexible approach to working overnight shifts on a rota basis
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS required
Role
Rotherwood Cares is currently recruiting for a Housing Concierge Officer on behalf of a valued client in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity to join a service supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and complex needs within temporary accommodation.
Duties Will Include
* Monitoring the safety and security of the building through CCTV and regular patrols
* Supporting residents with day to day enquiries and promoting a positive living environment
* Responding to incidents and conflict situations appropriately and professionally
* Completing accurate handovers and incident reports
* Preparing rooms for new residents and maintaining communal areas
* Working closely with colleagues to ensure consistent support across the service
