Residential Property Litigator
An established Legal 500 law firm in Farnborough is seeking an experienced Residential Property Litigator to join its Dispute Resolution team. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of residential property disputes, working alongside senior lawyers and trainees.
About the Role:
The firm is looking for a solicitor with experience in property litigation to handle contentious residential property matters, overseeing cases from initial instruction to resolution. The role offers opportunities for personal and professional development within a supportive team.
Responsibilities Include:
* Advising on landlord & tenant disputes, possession & eviction proceedings, and breach of lease issues.
* Managing boundary, adverse possession, and land ownership disputes.
* Engaging in ADR (mediation, arbitration, negotiations) and representing clients in court.
* Drafting pleadings, preparing cases for trial, and ensuring compliance with landlord-tenant regulations.
The role also involves building strong client relationships by providing practical, commercially focused advice and adopting a solutions-driven approach to dispute resolution.
What the Firm are Looking For:
* Over 2 years PQE in property litigation or dispute resolution.
* Strong technical knowledge and ability to handle a range of residential property disputes.
* Excellent drafting skills, including correspondence, pleadings, and witness statements.
* Commercially astute with a focus on practical and cost-effective solutions.
* Exceptional client care skills and effective communication with clients from all backgrounds.
