Start Date: September or early October 2025, depending on successful candidate's availability
Contract: PAYE employed, part-time with statutory holiday and pension. If you are self employed we would still be interested, so can be flexible depending on your situation and preferences.
We are a family living in Brislington, Bristol. My partner and I both run our own small businesses in the technology sector, and have a lively and lovely little toddler. My parents will soon be living in a garden annex, and as my mum's health needs increase, I want to spend as much time with her as possible, making her quality of life as good as possible in the limited time we have. To make this balance work, we're looking for the right person to help keep our home running smoothly and to cook healthy tasty meals. We already employ a fantastic nanny three days a week, so we're experienced working with domestic staff, but we are not a high-net-worth household (as many housekeepers might be used to) — just a busy, friendly family juggling various care needs.
About the role
We are seeking a reliable, organised and proactive housekeeper to support the smooth running of our multigenerational family home. This is a classic domestic housekeeping position with added responsibilities for preparing healthy, family-friendly evening meals and some cleaning. The family consists of my partner and I, our one year old boy and my parents who will be living in a garden annex.
The reason we are seeking a housekeeper is because my mother has a degenerative neurological condition, so having a housekeeper will free up time for me so I can care for both her and my toddler.
