About the Role
We're hiring a dynamic Centre Manager to lead day-to-day operations and be the primary relationship owner for parents. The role is split roughly 50% operations/administration (including finance admin) and 50% parent engagement, sales, and service. You'll be the hub that keeps the centre running smoothly—coordinating staff, schedules, and processes—while building trust with families and communicating student progress clearly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Parent Relationships & Sales (≈50%)
* Be the main point of contact for parents: onboard new families, handle queries, resolve concerns, and provide proactive updates.
* Conduct consultations and centre tours; convert enquiries to enrolments and manage re-enrolments/upsells.
* Maintain accurate records in our CRM; track satisfaction and retention metrics.
* Coordinate review/feedback cycles and implement service improvements.
* Operations & Administration (≈50%)
* Oversee day-to-day centre operations (timetables, rooming, resources, stock).
* Support basic finance admin: invoices, payment follow-up, petty cash, reconciliations, and weekly reporting.
* Staff coordination: rota planning, onboarding checklists, communication, and cover arrangements.
* Ensure policies and safeguarding procedures are followed; keep compliance logs and registers up to date.
* Produce concise weekly operations and KPI summaries (enquiries, conversions, attendance, revenue).
* Manage projects (e.g., seasonal campaigns, mock exams, parent events) end-to-end to deadlines.
About You
* Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
* Experience: Proven success in roles involving parents/customers, operations/project management, and sales or enrolments. Education sector experience is a plus but not essential.
* People Skills: Warm, professional communicator who builds trust quickly and handles sensitive conversations with care.
* Organization: Strong planner who thrives in a fast-moving environment; excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
* Tech & Tools: Comfortable with Google/Microsoft suites, CRM usage, spreadsheets, and basic finance admin.
* Values: Reliable, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure
