We are seeking a professional and motivated Installation Engineer to join our installation team based in Thetford. The Role Reporting to the General Manager, the Installer Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of modular ramp systems at customer locations nationwide. The successful candidate will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Install modular access ramp systems at customer sites across the UK Assemble and secure components using hand and power tools Carry out maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to existing installations Ensure all installations comply with relevant health, safety, and building regulations Complete installation records, photographs, and customer sign-off documentation accurately Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times Work collaboratively with Project Managers and the wider installation team to meet project deadlines Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order Travel nationally with occasional overnight stays as required Candidate Requirements Previous experience within installation, construction, engineering, or a similar hands-on environment would be advantageous Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools Strong practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation instructions Professional communication and customer service skills Full UK driving licence essential CSCS card desirable Flexible approach to travel and working outdoors in varying conditions Benefits Competitive salary (DOE) 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Life assurance Enhanced family benefits Cycle to work scheme Charity sponsorship opportunities Employee discount scheme Ongoing training and development
