Job Description
A leading law firm is seeking a Senior Associate (4+ PQE) to join its well-regarded Employment team in Birmingham on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for an employment lawyer based in the Midlands or within commuting distance of the West Midlands.
You’ll join a collaborative, nationally recognised team known for delivering practical, commercial advice to employer clients. The client base includes private and public sector organisations across sectors such as technology, manufacturing, financial services, construction and social housing, including international clients with UK operations.
The role
Advising employer clients on a broad range of employment matters, including:

* Day-to-day advisory work and drafting employment documentation
\t
* TUPE, redundancies and restructurings
\t
* Employment tribunal and civil litigation
\t
* Corporate and transactional support
\t
* Workplace investigations, industrial relations and ER issues
\t
* Client training and business development support
About you
\t
* Qualified solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in employment law
\t
* Strong technical skills and commercial judgement
\t
* Confident managing matters and client relationships
\t
* Collaborative, organised and solutions-focused
