About the role…
Working as a 2nd member of a team on a Unit specific to your role, visiting all types of clients — commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, utility, etc. —?across the UK carrying out Asset Inspections. Teams generally consist of 2 members and you will be expected to follow instructions from the Engineer(s) on site as well as your Project Supervisor but also work under your own initiative where possible
As a Drainage Technician you will…
Operating the following equipment day to day based on specific role:
CCTV Unit
HGV Jetting Unit
Jet Van
Survey/Asset Van
Patching or Lining Unit
Ensure compliance with all aspects of Health and Safety, Quality and Environment
Ensure Company policies are always adhered to.
Ensure all site related incidents are reported to your Supervisor.
Contribute and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate.
Work closely with associated Engineers, ensuring all aspects of work are completed on site.
Contribute towards producing high quality results, reports and feedback.
Always establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues and early resolution of any potential problems.
You need to be flexible too: we operate 24/7 so there will be early starts, weekend working and an out-of-hours working across the UK.

This role would suit someone who likes to work flexibly, our teams operate 24/7 so there will be early starts, weekend / and out-of-hours working and in return we really value and develop our colleagues. Having utilities knowledge is a bonus, but working within a customer service or focused environment is essential along with having worked in a health and safety focused environment. You will be self-motivated, professional and a team player!
