Responsibilities
* Create lessons that last: Using our tailored learning approach and the smart learning tool Compass, you will empower members to overcome challenges and progress.
* Build lasting relationships: Small group sessions at a 1:6 ratio will allow you to foster strong relationships with your members.
* Drive change: You will support members as they progress through the national curriculum, entrance exam, and GCSE preparation, celebrating achievements along the way.

* Working hours: Contract at least 6 hours per week over two days, between 3:30 pm and 4 pm on weekdays.
Pay Rates & Progression
* Under 18: £8 per hour
* 18-20: £10.05 per hour
* 21+: £12.25 per hour
* Additional 50p per hour when working at a centre inside the M25.
* Paid for all training and inductions.
You will start on the base rate for your age group, with an annual opportunity to increase your pay based on the hours you tutor.

Requirements
* Grade 5 or above in Maths & English at GCSE level (predicted grades accepted if expected within 3 months).
* Age 16 or over and right to work in the UK.
* Physical ability to commute to the centre.
All successful applicants will undertake employment reference checks and a Disclosure & Barring Service check or PVG check. Please note, this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
